Jalandoon, De Guzman dominate ABC monthly

MANILA, Philippines - Denis Jalandoon of WeKonstruct rolled a six-game series of 1291 to capture the Group I crown while Joseph de Guzman of Glass Asia took the Group 2 plum with a 1110 in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championship at E Lanes in Ortigas, Greenhills last week.

Eugene Panaguiton of Dwightsteel finished second in Group I with 1252 while Ronnie Javier of Miraga Trading and Joey del Rosario of Duraflex TW Wires placed third and fourth with 1210 and 1172, respectively, in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Tony Sabater of Spurway scored 1096, Malou del Rosario of Philflex Wies and Cables turned in a 1067 and Vic Sison of Energetix had 1062 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

Action in the tournament, backed by Morning Sun, JS Alvarez, Concrete Ventures, Crown Pipes, Emerald Pipes, Duraflex THHN/THW Wires, Boysen Acrytex/Healthy Homes/Knoxout/Wallguard/Virtuoso, DN Steel, Moldex Pipes, August Alliance, HCG Phils., Coach Furnitures and Greystone, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the second quarterly championship, also at E Lanes.
