Salud already evaluating Japeth trade proposal

MANILA, Philippines - PBA Commissioner Chito Salud has confirmed to Philstar.com that the blockbuster multi-player trade proposal involving Japeth Aguilar and Jay Washington is already with him.

"I'm already evaluating it," Salud said in a text message to Philstar.com.

The Japeth Aguilar sweepstakes has been the talk of the town since yesterday overshadowing the earlier trade that sent Jared Dillinger from Talk n Text to sister team Meralco using Barako Bull as conduit.

The complicated multi-player deal will bring Aguilar to Brgy. Ginebra in exhange for rookie Yousif Taha and a future first round pick.  GlobalPort will also get Jay Washington from Petron for Jason Deutchman and the Kings will also send Elmer Espiritu to Barako Bull for a draft pick.

The PBA Commissioner has the power to veto a trade proposal if he finds it unfair to protect the league and fans' interest.
