P’que chessfest gets under way

MANILA, Philippines - The 50th edition of the First Saturday non-master chess tournament resumes today with another huge field expected to vie for top honors in various divisions at fourth floor of Perez Bldg., Doña Soledad Ave. corner Australia St., Better Living Subd., Parañaque City.

Titles to be disputed are elementary, high school, college, ladies and seniors. Registration is ongoing with fee pegged at P150 for kiddies (elementary) division and P250 for the rest of the categories.
