Vaseline Xterra triathlon 2nd leg set May 26

MANILA, Philippines - Athletes and adventure seekers gear up for a battle royale as they vie in the Vaseline Men XTERRA Mud Run on May 26 at Filinvest City in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

The event, serving as the second leg of the Vaseline Men XTERRA Off-road Triathlon Series, is challenging trail run competition, featuring a 5k and 10k course which includes obstacles that participants must negotiate before crossing the finish line.

Designed to test their physical strength and endurance, these challenges include climbing, rope skills, crawling, leaping, balancing and carrying. The competing field will also cover a variety of terrains – hilly, fast descents, slow ascents, fire roads, loose rocks, grasslands, dirt roads and concrete roads.

The series kicked off recently in Liloan, Cebu with the race also serving as the qualifier for the XTERRA off-road triathlon global championship in Maui, Hawaii.
