MANILA, Philippines - The Cobra Energy Drink Urge Ride Rules Tour, the country’s biggest BMX and mountain bike stunt competition, kicks off its Season 2 on Saturday with the top bike stunt riders expected to see action at the Amphitheater, Riverbanks Center, Marikina City.

The action-packed event will start at 1 p.m. with participants to pit skills and tricks in various events, including BMX Box Jump, BMX Street and MTB Box Jump, in the pro/expert and beginner/novice categories.

The Cobra Urge Ride Rules Tour Season 2 is powered by Cobra Energy Drink, the country’s No. 1 energy drink and proud supporter of world-class Filipino talents and events.

Other backers of the event are DC Shoes, Dickies, Inquirer.Net, Riverbanks Center, Business Mirror, Solar Sports, Manila Bulletin, The Manila Times and Daily Tribune.   

Season I winners Dan Lopez (BMX Street, BMX Box Jump) and Eboy Farr (MTB Box Jump) head the roster in the pro/expert category that includes Paul Diaz of Parugang of Angeles Pampanga, considered as the “dark horse” in the BMX box Jump contest. He is expected to show his signature 360 back flips.  

Other riders tipped to vie for crowns are veterans Lucio Baga, Dyrell Ellias and Daboi Pineda.  

Meanwhile, the BMX Street category will be led by Johnty Claraval, Jeff Erejher, Worm Lang and Anthonie Bitancor while Edgar Sarabia is out to dominate the pro/expert category (MTB Box Jump) along with newcomer Jon Castillo and veteran Max Galsim.
