Top guns show stuff in Circuit Showdown

MANILA, Philippines - The veterans showed newbies fundamental lessons in circuit racing as they showed the way in the third leg of the  2013 GT Radial-Circuit Showdown recently at the Batangas Racing Circuit.

 Joby Tanseco ruled Bracket A, followed by Marc Thomann and Sam Avila. The other top three finishers were JP Pacres, Felix Perez and Dindo de Jesus in Bracket B, Alan Arguelles, Andrew de Asis and Edwin Rodriguez (Bracket C), Toby Santiago, Charles Cheng and Richmon de la Rosa (Bracket D), Leo Candava, Francis de los Santos and Eduardo Suiza (Bracket E), and Mark Dy, Alking de la Cruz, Paul Castellano (Bracket F).  Rafael La ‘O set the fastest time of the day in the Time Attack with 1.47.071.

Winners in the grid races were Marcus Timbol, Al Lacambra and Luigi Cupino (Grid C), after two drivers were given penalties for breaking out the top spots. In Grid B, two similar breakouts and several DNFs were registered, giving the podium positions  to Michael Co, Christopher Guerzon and Mark Sy in that order.  In Grid A, Rafael La ‘O had a runaway victory followed by Eggy Ong and Marc Thomann.
