Bulacan find wins Junior NBA award

MANILA, Philippines - Allane Maverick Barles of Bulacan bagged the Master Facial Wash and Rexona Sportsmanship Award at the Jr. NBA Philippines 2013 National Training Camp held at the SM Mall of Asia recently.

The award, presented by NBA legend Muggsy Bogues and Master brand manager Jonathan Pua, gives recognition to Jr. NBA participants who exemplify the four core STAR qualities – Sportsmanship, Teamwork, positive Attitude and Respect.

Bogues came to Manila for the three-day boot camp of the country’s most prestigious youth basketball program. Targeting players aged 10-14, the Jr. NBA held regional selection camps in Dagupan, Davao, Lucena, and Manila to provide aspiring Filipino athletes a chance to hone their basketball skills and prepare them for the real hard court.
