GDAP offers kids free golf clinic
MANILA, Philippines - In line with its thrust to promote golf to kids and encourage them to get into the sport, Golf Distributors Association of the Philippines will offer free golf clinic for kids 5 to 12 years old who have not experienced playing golf. The clinic is one of the featured activities of the Summer Golf & Leisure Expo on May 3-5 at the Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall.
“Through the clinic, we are hoping that more kids will be interested to learn golf and eventually be committed to pursue training to add to the list of the golfing population in the Philippines,†says GDAP president Mert Besa.
The clinic, slated May 4-5, 2-4 p.m. at the Megatrade Hall, will be conducted by GolfMix, a group of former junior golfers who are now golf professionals led by US-trained and certified coach Chris Guerrero. With its proven expertise in teaching golf to kids as young as four years old, GolfMix promises that the activity is going to be a fun golf learning experience for the kids.
The activity includdes lecture, hitting and putting.
