TRS kids brace for kart honors at BRC tomorrow

MANILA, Philippines - The TRS Racing Kids resume their quest for racing honors in the second leg of the Coca-Cola Karting Super Series at the Batangas Racing Circuit tomorrow.

Arthur “AT” Tuason, runner-up in the Formula SL novice division last month, heads the team which includes new recruits Jarred Kim and Julia delos Angeles, who will contend for the Formula SQ Cadet Novice titles.

Kim, son of GT driver Peter Kim, displayed marked improvement after finishing runner-up last month. Delos Angeles, a product of the Champion of the Future Series, ended up third in the Formula Cadet Novice in her first competitive race late last year and third also last month.

Joining them are Flynn Jackes, who’s leading the points standings in the Mini Rok and Formula Cadet Expert classes, and Wills Casequin, who is currently No. 3 in the Mini-ROK class.

The TRS team is backed by BMW, Bridgestone, Standard Insurance, Coke Zero, PUMA, OMP, C!Magazine, Aguila Auto Glass, Acer,  Oakley, Toptul, Bellevue, Karate Kid and Go Pro.

“We expect them to improve further in this race and we also expect them to show the techniques they have learned during pre-season training under the Tuason Racing School Race Career Management Program (TRS-RCMP),” said TRS founder and president JP Tuason who’s also the brains behind the TRS-RCMP.

The TRS-RCMP equips young racers and TRS students with advanced techniques and better competitive skills.

It also helps them achieve a successful career path in motorsports by sending them to racing competitions and programs in Asia, US and Europe.
