Panaguiton, Magsakay top ABC doubles event

MANILA, Philippines - Violy Magsakay and Eugene Panaguiton of Boysen Virtuoso combined for 1491 pinfalls to capture the Architects Bowling Club’s doubles event crown at Starmall Bowling Lanes, EDSA cor. Shaw Blvd. in Mandaluyong City last week.

Abe Firmeza and Manny Padit of Philflex Wires and Cables rolled 1486 for second while Jerry Cham and Paul Ayson of the Boysen Acrytex scored 1469 to finish third in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, the ABC board is inviting all licensed architects to join the event every Tuesday as ABC gears up for its 36th founding anniversary with a bowling tournament and club outing in May.

The tournament, backed by DN Steel, Miraga Trading, HCG Phils., Moldex Pipes, August Alliance, WeKonstruct, Spurway, Coach Furnitures, Energetix, Glass Asia, Dwightsteel, Greystone, Morning Sun, JS Alvarez Elect. Contractor, Concrete Ventures, Crown Pipes, Duraflex TW/THW/THHN Wires, Emerald Pipes, Boysen Healthy Homes/Knoxout/Wallguard and Nation Paints, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the all-events doubles at E Lanes Center, Ortigas Ave. Greenhills, San Juan City.
