UE sets wellness program, sports clinics

MANILA, Philippines - The University of the East will hold the 2013 Summer Wellness Program and Sports Clinic which will be handled by UE’s physical education instructors at the UE Caloocan and Manila venues.

The UE wellness program for adults will consist of aerobics in modules 1 and 2, and ballroom dance in modules 1 and 2. 

Each module is set for an hour per session for 12 sessions at Gym 3 in UE Manila. The module 1 starts  April 8 while module 2 begins May 6.  

Enrollees in the UE Sports Clinic for children will have choices in basketball (for boys), badminton, volleyball, taekwondo and judo in module 1, with two hours per session for 10 hours, and in fencing in module 1, with two hours per session for 20 hours.

UE also offers this summer ballet and Hawaiian dance lessons for girls in module 1, with two hours per session for 10 sessions.

Various sessions of the sports clinic and the ballet and Hawaiian lessons start April 8.

Except for volleyball, the clinic unfurls May 6. Hawaiian dance lessons for UE Manila begin April 15 either at  the UE Caloocan or Manila gym.

Judo and ballet sessions will be held at the Gym 2 in UE Manila and Hawaiian dance at the Gym 3B and UE Caloocan gym. Fencing is on going at the Gym 4A and B in UE Manila.
