In This Corner

MANILA, Philippines - The Easter Sunday Special of Rod Nazario’s In This Corner features the highly awaited rematch between Michael Landero and Ivan Soriano over PTV-4 starting at 7 p.m.

The eight-round return bout in the flyweight division is presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and Petron.

Landero, the former Orient Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) light-flyweight champion, and Soriano first fought in September last year in an exciting encounter, which Soriano won behind a 10-round unanimous decision.

The match was held at the Alabang South Grill Station in Muntinlupa. The rematch was held early this month in Caloocan.
