NCA derby up at Ynares
MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance (NCA) holds a five-cock derby Tuesday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig, with top cockers from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao in action.
The derby will be hosted by Manny and Armand Santos, who have invited prominent guests to pit their aces against the best entries from the NCA.
Atong Ang dominated the NCA derby last March 19 with a whopping five points. At second were Odie Diamante and Mayor Elan Nagano with 4-1/2 points. At third with four points each were Jap Atienza and Jun Topacio, Arman Santos and Mario Villamor.
The NCA will have three more regular derbies before the
World Championship Derby on May 21, 23, and 25.
The NCA derby on April 9 will be hosted by Patrick Antonio and Jun Topacio. The derby on April 16 will be hosted by Vic Yap, Bebot Roxas, Allan Bantile, and Claude Bautista, while the April 23 event will be hosted by Efren Canlas, Jimafer, and Cesar Dy.
All NCA derbies are sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor.
