MANILA, Philippines - Jumbo Plastic Linoleum, with UST star Aljon Mariano and former Perpetual Help top gun Jett Vidal at the helm, hopes to make an immediate impact with a mix of veteran and young players as it debuts in the upcoming second conference of the PBA D-League.
“We’re the new kids on the block but we hope to compete and give the established teams a good fight,†said Jimmy dela Cruz, team owner of the country’s top linoleum maker. “We have a good mix of young and veteran players.â€

“Aside from that, D-League is fast gaining a wide audience so it’s one way to promote our own product,†said dela Cruz, who tapped Hope Christian High School coach Stevenson Tiu to handle his team.
