MANILA, Philippines – Global remained on top the United Football League table after routing Pachanga-Diliman, 4-0, on Tuesday at the Emperador Stadium in McKinley Hill in Taguig.
After a scoreless first half, Global stepped on the gas flaunting the league’s best offense in the second half.
Izzo ElHabib broke loose from Pachanga’s air-tight defense on him completing a brace in the second half to lead Global’s domination.
The Sudanese striker opened up the floodgates with his first goal five minutes into the second half. He capped off another sterling performance with another goal 10 minutes before full time from a Misagh Bahadoran’s wicked pass off two defenders.
ElHabib’s goals sandwiched a pair from Jeff Christaiens (62’) and Carlos Guisso (70’) for Global, who have netted 19 goals in five unbeaten matches to pace the league.
Pachanga-Diliman remained at fifth spot after absorbing their third loss in five starts.
