Javier cops ABC Masters crown

MANILA, Philippines - Ronnie Javier of ABC-Imus-Trecenians waxed hot with an eight-game series 1736 to beat Nepthy del Rosario of ABC Boysen by four pins and capture the ABC Masters crown in the ABC-Boysen Open Classic at E Lanes, Ortigas Ave. Greenhills, San Juan City last Friday.

Noel del Rosario of ABC-PBA rolled 1599, Zeny Prudente of ABC-Moldex had 1589 and Francis Figuracion of ABC-Crown Pipes scored 1577, to finish third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in the nine-day Open tournament sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

PTBA’s John Mendoza took the seniors masters crown with 1747, while Nelia Santos of PBA submitted 1734 for second and Vener Reasonda of MTBA-Henrich settled for third with 1725.

Backing the event are Boysen, Crown Pipes, BJT Const, BAE Glass and Aluminum, CRMA, ES Vidal Builders, AIDEA Architects, Philflex, Trecenians, Color Steel, Coach Furnitures, Moldex Pipes, Apurway, JEA Steel, United Pipes, New Golden City, Tricomac Const, Emerald Pipes, Morning Sun, Multi-Folds, Procon Const, Wismon Const, Eurolux Lightings,Fredcor Sashwork, Wilcon Depot, RFK Industrial, Greystone and Villarey Trading.

Action resumed yesterday for Group 2, the major division Master finals and for Group 1, major division Masters finals.
