Hernandez, Baltazar pace architects bowling

MANILA, Philippines - Enzo Hernandez of TBAM-Prima rolled a six-game series of 1478 while teammate Jonas Baltazar scored 1450 to wrest the lead in Group I and Open Masters in the Architects Bowling Club-Boysen Open Classic tournament at the E-Lanes in Greenhills, San Juan last Tuesday.

Ronnie Javier of ABC-Imus-Trecenians had 1334 while Noel del Rosario of ABC-PBA submitted 1321 to pace the Classified Masters and ABC Singles event in the nine-day ABC-Boysen Open Classic tournament.

Team Wilcon Depot, composed of Gabriel Sanchez, Lito Zubiri, Bernard Sanchez and Hernandez, pooled 2789 to top the Sponsors Challenge. The Procon Const. team of Pros Surell, Bert Magsakay, John Mendoza and Raoul Miranda assembled 2779 for second while the Philflex squad of Robert Olete, Buddy Segui, Manny Padit and Joe Tomagan finished third with 2757.

Meanwhile, the ABC Masters finals will be held today at 10 a.m. to be followed by the qualifying in the afternoon. The minor division Master finals will be played tomorrow, also at 10 a.m. to be followed by the male classified Masters finals, the female Masters finals at 2 p.m. and the male Open Masters finals at 5 p.m.

The Major Division Group 2 Master finals will be played on March 3 at 10 a.m. while the Group I Major Division Masters finals is set at 3 p.m., also on Sunday with the awards rites slated at 8 p.m., also at E Lanes.
