ABC-Boysen Open Classic under way

MANILA, Philippines - The Architects Bowling Club holds the second ABC-Boysen Open Classic today with a big field expected to participate in the event marking the celebration of its 36th founding anniversary at the E Lanes Center in Ortigas Ave., Greenhills, San Juan.

Meanwhile, Ronnie Javier of Steeltech rolled a six-game series of 1339 to rule Group I while Michael Domingo of Duraflex TW Wires scored 1104 to bag the Group 2 plum in the ABC monthly championship last Tuesday.

Buddy Segui of American Wires had 1332 for second, Boyet Libiran of Duraflex THW Wires scored 1272 for third while Nepthy del Rosario of Boysen Acrytex ended up fourth with 1238 in Group I of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Tony Sabater of Colorsteel submitted 1102, Sonny Esguerra of Emerald Pipes came up with 1011 and Malou del Rosario of Philflex had 1005 to place second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.
