Poblete mom-son team rules Valentine’s bowl

MANILA, Philippines - Margie and son Richie Poblete of ABC Phils. combined for 1720 pinfalls to top the Architects Bowling Club’s Valentine Doubles at the E Lanes Center in Ortigas Ave. in Greenhills last week.

Noel del Rosario and Kathlyn Ong of Nation Paints placed second with 1712 while Lara Posadas and Ronnie Javier of Steeltech scored 1706 to finish third in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, ABC is inviting all bowling clubs and associations to join the ABC-Boysen Open Classic tournament at 11 a.m. on Feb. 23 to March 3, also at E-Lanes, as ABC gears up for its 36th founding anniversary with a club out-of-town trip in May.
