In This Corner

MANILA, Philippines - The light-flyweight match between Benezer Alolod and Ruther del Castillo that went the distance will be shown in tonight’s episode of Rod Nazario’s In This Corner over PTV-4.

The bout, set for 10 rounds, is the lone featured match in the 7-8 p.m. boxing program presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and Petron.

Alolod and Del Castillo fought at the Venice Piazza Mall, McKinley Hill Village in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig during the boxing card co-presented by ARCI Gabriel boxing promotions and Brusmick boxing promotion.

Dubbed “Mandirigmang Pinoy-Battle at McKinley Hill,” the event was sponsored by Venice Piazza, Megaworld, Razon’s of Guagua, and Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano.
