Bro. Benedict Cup slated at Valley

MANILA, Philippines - The 10th Bro. Benedict Cup gets under way on Feb. 26 with a big field composed of alumni and current students of various De La Salle schools vying for top honors at the Valley Golf Club’s north course in Antipolo.

Titles to be disputed in the tournament, held honor of the late Bro. Josiah Benedict Lidinsky and organized and hosted by the De La Salle Alumni Association, are the Classes A, B, C, D, seniors and ladies. The event is backed by EastWest Bank, Double Dragon Properties and San Miguel Corp.

The Bro. Benedict Cup serves as the second of the seven-leg Animo Golf Tour and held as a prelude to DLSU Homecoming dubbed La Salle 101 on March 2. The first leg, the Bro. Alphonsus Bloemen Cup, was held last Jan. 29 at Wack Wack and was hosted by the La Salle Green Hills Alumni Association.
