11-year-old rips AAA mark in PSL meet
MANILA, Philippines - Eleven-year-old McTracy John Alindogan hit Triple-A marks in all his events as he led young swimmers of the Philippine Swimming League in the first Vice Mayor Rolen Paulino Swimming meet held in Olongapo yesterday.
Alindogan posted record marks in the 100m freestyle (1:02.53), 50m butterfly (30.50), breaststroke (35.79) and 50m backstroke (32.70) to get a lion’s share of the individual medals awarded by Vice Mayor Paulino and former PSC commissioner Tisha Abundo, vice president of the Federation of School Sports Associations of the Philippines (FESSAP).
Mark Bryan Dula,5, won all his events with impressive performances in the 50m back (1:07.31), 50m butterfly (1:01.00), 100m IM (2:13.00), 100m freestyle (1:57.00) and 50m free (49.00).
Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh, six-year-old lad from Parañaque, won all her events – in the 100m free (2:02.38), 50m breaststroke (1:09.30), 100m IM (2:18.57), 50m backstroke (1:03.00) and 50m freestyle (51.00).
Robin Seranillo, 9, bettered the old mark in the 50m butterfly (36.00), 100m freestyle (1:11.13), 50m backstroke (36.00) and 100m IM (1:18.50).
During the meet, PSL president Susan Papa announced the appointment of William Asturias of Zambales as Region 3 director and Rolly dela Cruz as his assistant.

Boys: Dula, Alindogan, Seranillo, Albert Samuel Villanueva, Charles Dylan Chia, Arl Edrian Carballo, Geoffrey James Liberato, John Marie Lim, Matthew Tan, Lans Donato, Angel Tristan Pascua, Shalom Sabino, Duane Baterina and Gian Berino.
Girls: Mojdeh, Berleen Villanueva, Francesca Israel, Gillyn Gonzalvo, Franz Joves, Bhay Newberry, Louise Jamielene Saavedra, Ma. Erriel Lim, Andrea Jheremy Pacheco, Jilyn Mendoza and Jhoanna Rose Ronquillo.
