MANILA, Philippines - The Forest Hills Golf and Country Club, Inc. holds its 11th Chairman’s Cup today where it will also officially introduce and inaugurate the full 18 holes of its new Palmer Course in Antipolo City.
Relatively short at 6,224 yards, the Palmer layout remains a challenging course with its undulating fairways, hazards and bunkers that come into play in almost all holes plus its unpredictable putting surface.
To accommodate the big number of field, organizers said they will also use the adjacent Nicklaus course, also improved to championship standard.
The event is presented by Boaz Motors, Inc. Pioneer Insurance, Golforce, Inc. and Boracay Sands Hotel with Taishan Insurance Brokers, Phils., Inc., Club Car, The Turf Company and Kart Plaza leading the hole-in-one sponsors.
A brand-new Hyundai Accent car will also be raffled off during awards rites.
