Libiran tops ABC opening tourney

MANILA, Philippines - Boyet Libiran of Duraflex TW Wires rolled a 1270 to capture the Architects Bowling Club’s singles crown at the E Lanes Bowling Center in Greenhills, San Juan last week.

Denis Jalandoon of We Konstruct scored 1233 to place second while Jun Queri of Emerald Pipes made 1231 for third in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints. Noel del Rosario took the high game honors with 244.

Meanwhile, ABC president Ronnie Javier is inviting all licensed architects to join the tournament every Tuesday as ABC gears up for its 36th founding anniversary with a club outing in May.

The tournament, backed by Duraflex THHN/THW Wires, ABC Phils., Philflex Wires and Cables, Emerald Pipes, Crown Pipes Supreme, Concrete Ventures, Colorsteel, JS Alvarez Electrical Contractor, Morning Sun, HCG Phils., Steeltech, Moldex Pipes, La Vida Verde and Boysen Knoxout/Wallguard/Acrytex/Healthy Homes, resumes at 7 tonight with the holding of the doubles event, also at E Lanes.
