MANILA, Philippines - Grace Castillo, a former sportswriter for a weekly magazine, scored her first career hole-in-one last Sunday on No. 14 of Wack Wack’s West course.
Castillo, now an assistant vice-president for PhilPacific Insurance Brokers, Inc., used a Ping Faith 6-iron and a Titleist ProV1 number 4 ball in acing the 116-yard hole. She played the course for the first time.
She was in the company of Wack Wack member Andrew Ngui, father of seven-gold medal-winning Palarong Pambansa swimmer Axel, Musong Castillo and close family friend Rudy Yu, the team manager of the UST Growling Tigers basketball squad in the UAAP.
