Smart holds Live More fun run Jan. 19

MANILA, Philippines - Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) is inviting families, barkadas and runners of all ages to participate in a different kind of running event that should bring the fun back in running.

Smart is welcoming 2013 with the Live More Run happening on Jan. 19,  at 3 p.m. at Nuvali in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The Live More Run is a 5K lifestyle, sports, arts and music run that will culminate in a post-run party.

“We organized the Live More Run for us to celebrate new beginnings this 2013,” said Noel Lorenzana, Smart’s executive vice president and head of Wireless Consumer Division. “This is for all of us who wish to make the most of the new year by enjoying life, celebrating relationships, and living more.”

The Live More Run is an untimed running event which has no age limit. This “colorful” run, said Lorenzana, will involve a lot of paint and colored powder which the participants can use to make larger than life works of art.

Aside from the grand colorful “powder toss”, runners can also look forward to a concert which will happen on the evening after the run. The celebration of colors will continue in a grand lantern release to be held after the party.
