Hard-driving Titleist 913 launched in local market

MANILA, Philippines - The Titleist 913, the newest high-performance drivers creating a buzz in the PGA, European and Web.com Tours, is now in the Philippines.

Designed and built for more speed and more distance, Titleist 913 was formally launched yesterday by Dynamic Sports Corp., exclusive Phl distributor of Titleist, led by president/CEO Christopher Tang, vice president for sales Manny Tan, vice president for finance Guilly Nocom, and Titleist brand manager Nixon Lee at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club.

“The new Titleist 913 drivers deliver more performance with the most precise fit available to all serious golfers through an unparalleled combination of new innovations and Titleist’s industry-leading SureFit Tour hosel technology,” said Tan.

Titleist 913 drivers feature a high-speed, forged face insert intended to provide maximum ball speeds over a larger area of the face. They have a lower, more optimal center of gravity location that makes for optimum launch with reduced spin for longer distance, plus a new rear SureFit Tour weight and fitting precision provided by the SureFit Tour adjustable hosel.

They come in two models, Titleist 913D2 and 913D3. The 913D2 features a 460cc full-pear shaped head designed for maximum forgiveness and a slight draw bias while the 913D3 has a classic-pear shape that is forgiving with tour-inspired workability.

Tan said golfers can choose their 913 model based on size or shape preference, amount of forgiveness or workability or amount of draw bias. “They can then dial-in their launch and spin settings precisely using the SureFit Tour hosel.”

Since Titleist 913’s launch in the US last June, more and more players have been using the new driver - with considerable success. To date, Titleist users have accounted for a combined five victories in the PGA, European and Web.com Tours, led by world no. 1 Rory McIlroy at the PGA Championship and Nick Watney at The Barclays.

In celebration of its Phl launch and Dynamic Sports’ coming 25th anniversary in 2013, Tang said they offering the first 25 Titleist 913 drivers in the country at a special price.

“To kick off our celebrations for the 25th anniversary, we are giving our first 25 Titleist drivers at a very limited introductory price,” Tang said.
