Twitters express disbelief on Pacman KO
ILOILO CITY , Philippines – Boxing experts expressed shock and disappointment on Manny Pacquiao’s loss that all but scuttled a dream mega-fight between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather.
“And with that, there goes a fight that would have paid Mayweather and Pacquiao astronomical money. What fools for not making,” said Yahoo!’s Kevin Iole on his Twitter account @KevinI.
“Pacquiao just KNOCKED DEAD in the 6th round. Oh my!” ESPN’s Dan Rafael, for his part, said.
“Today is the day Mayweather/Pacquiao officially died,” Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix said. “Rosenthal: Pacquiao is out ... wife is crying. Unbelievable,” twitted Ring Magazine’s account.
“Feel like time has stopped still stunneddddd over this fight,” said the Boston Celtics’ Paul Pierce, a Pacman fan, through @paulpierce34.
