Gems thwart Erase

MANILA, Philippines - Cebuana Lhuillier rallied from 12-points down and defeated Erase Xfoliant, 92-74, to even its card at 3-3 in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the Trinity University of Asia gym in QC yesterday.

Jopher Custodio scored 13 points and Paul Sanga added 10 markers as the Gems outscored the Erasers, 33-7, in the third period to charge back from 33-45 down en route to victory.

Custodio finished with 25 points, June Dizon had 15 markers and Mark Sarangay snared 14 rebounds for the Gems.

The Erasers fell to 2-4.
