Red Warriors rule UCBL invitational

MANILA, Philippines - The UE Red Warriors ruled the  Gatorade-Reebok-University College Basketball League (UCBL) invitational games with a sweep of all its matches held Nov. 24-26  at the Venue Hoops Station Summit in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.

The UE Red Warriors crushed the UCBL selection of Malaysia, 132-55, in the first game, the Korea Chong Dang University players, 108-65, in the second game, and  the Royal Malaysia Police, 87-53 in the championship.

The Warriors also joined an outreach program participated in by coaches, including Warriors head coach David “Boycie” Zamar and a friendly demo game pitting the Warriors and a Malay community at the University Teknologi MRA (UITM).
