MANILA, Philippines - The SBP-Passerelle twin tournaments national finals will be held tomorrow and Sunday at the Capiz Gym in Roxas City with eight schools – four each in SBP and Passerelle vying for this year’s crowns.

Vying for the SBP national championship trophy are La Salle Greenhills representing NCR, Don Bosco Academy of Pampanga representing Luzon, University of San Carlos representing Visayas and Ateneo de Davao representing Mindanao.

For the Passerelle, La Salle Greenhills will represent NCR, Holy Angel University will represent Luzon, University of San Carlos representing Visayas and Holy Child College representing Mindanao.

With over 160 participating schools this year, the championship promises to be even more exciting with new schools facing off as SBP and Passerelle defending champions Lourdes School of Mandaluyong and Ateneo de Cebu failed to qualify for this year’s national finals.

Organized by the Best Center and sponsored by Milo, the SBP-Passerelle twin tournament is now on its 27th year and has been promoting sportsmanship and discipline among kids aged 9-11 (SBP) and 12-14 (Passerelle) through basketball.
