Padit, Poon top ABC monthly

MANILA, Philippines - Manny Padit of Philflex Wires and Cables turned in a six-game series of 1347 to cop the Group 1 crown while Randy Poon of Duraflex TW Wires took the Group 2 title with a 1094 in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championships at the E Lanes Center in Greenhills, San Juan last week.

Buddy Segui of American Wires had 1313 to place second, Eugene Ferraris of HCG made a 1245 for third while Johnson Villanueva of Crown Pipes Supreme had a 1245 for fourth in Group 1 in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Ariel Uy of Boysen Acrytex had 1064, Jun Queri of La Vida Verde shot a 1062, and Zeny Prudente of Moldex Pipes made a 1014 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

The tournament, backed by ABC Phils., Atlanta Pipes, Philflex Cables, Emerald Pipes, JS Alvarez Elect. Contractor, Firefly-Royu, Steeltech, Boysen Wallguard/Knoxout/Healthy Homes, We Konstruct, Colorsteel, Concrete Ventures, Duraflex THHN/THW Wires and Nation Paints, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the fourth quarterly championship, also at E Lanes.
