MANILA, Philippines – The Manila Surfers Association (MSA), a non-profit organization that aims to provide representation for Manila surfers, will host a surfing competition in Sabang Beach, Baler from Nov. 24-25 for the benefit of students of the Ruperto Zubia Sr. Elementary School in the province.
Dubbed “Siege of Baler II: Pangalawa Na ‘To Para Kay Pake”, the event aims to raise funds to purchase books and other school supplies to be donated to the said school, where most of the surfers attended their elementary education.
The two-day affair is also geared towards the promotion of surfing as a sport and Aurora province as a surfing destination. It will feature competitions for novice and advance surfers from Manila and Baler.
