MANILA, Philippines - A four-cock derby will be held today, starting at 4 p.m., at the Elorde Cockpit on Sucat Rd, Parañaque.
Promoted by sportsman-businessman Johnny Elorde, the derby, now on its 19th year, has a guaranteed prize of P300,000 The entry fee is P11,000. The handler and gaffer receive P20,000 and P10,000, respectively.
Meanwhile, the much-awaited Tuesday Special (Ulutan) will be held tomorrow, with more than 50 fights on tap.
Registration fee is P3,300. Ulutan starts at 11 a.m.
