Fil-Chinese caging on at PCC

MANILA, Philippines - The Metropolitan Amateur Sports Association (MASA), a major Chinese Filipino interschool sport organization, unfolds today with host Hope Christian High School out to extend its reign in basketball and girls volleyball competitions at the Philippine Cultural College. 

The Hope Christians are gunning for their fourth straight title in basketball and six in volleyball. 

Other schools taking part in the annual event held in cooperation with the Filipino-Chinese Amateur Athletic Federation are Philadelphia High School (PHS), St Jude Catholic School (SJCS), Philippine Cultural College (PCC), Philippine Academy of Sakya (PAS) and guest Philippine Chen Kuang High School (PCKHS).

Aside from basketball and volleyball, also on tap are track and field, badminton, table tennis and chess. The opening ceremony starts at 1 p.m.
