Coseteng, Jackes rule Cadet, Mini-ROK Cup

MANILA, Philippines - Eduardo “EJ” Coseteng Jr and Mini-ROK champion Flynn Jackes drew the first blood as they turned back separate rivals recently in the kickoff of the three-leg 2012 Coca-Cola Formula Cadet Cup and Mini-ROK Cup at the Clark International Speedway.

The seven-year-old Coseteng, son of multi-titled Touring Car champ Jody, swept all three races to dominate the Formula Cadet Cup while the nine-year-old Jackes, who bagged the overall Mini-ROK title in the Coca-Cola Karting Super Series, bounced back in the final race to rule the Mini-ROK Cup of this event sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines, and sponsored by Coca-Cola, Yokohama the official tires, Sparco, Motorstar and Aeromed.

Sharing the limelight was Jerry Choi Acuna who topped the SQ Karting Cup.
