MANILA, Philippines - Dennis Orcollo bowed to Shane Van Boening of the US, 7-13, and settled for runner-up honors in the US Open 9-Ball in Virginia Saturday.

Van Boening earlier bested Pagulayan, 11-5, to clinch the first berth in the hot seat. He took the top purse of $25,000.
Orcollo, the former world No. 1, settled for $15,000 while Pagulayan and Reyes received $10,000 and $6,000, respectively.
