Vaseline Xterra team cast known tomorrow
Among those vying for the two coveted spots to complete the Vaseline Men Xterra Philippine team are Dr. Martin Camara, Hector Yuson, Mark Hernandez, Raffy Zamora, Carlos de Guzman, Redg Plupino and Jinoe Gavan.
MANILA, Philippines - The search for the last two triathletes who will complete the five-man Vaseline Men Xterra Philippine team vying in the Xterra Global Championship in Maui ends tomorrow, organizers said.
Coach Noy Jopson and celebrity triathletes Matteo Guidicelli and Drew Arellano have been seeded into the team with the remaining two to be selected via voting through the Vaseline Men Xterra Tri-Outs Camp: Race to Maui.
To vote, log on to Vaseline Men’s YouTube page at www.youtube.com/vaselinemenph.
Watch the three videos and click on the voting link found within the site to vote for the two triathletes who you think will best represent the country.
Public votes will be equivalent to 50 percent of each athlete’s score, while the other 50 percent will be based on the judges’ votes.
The two athletes with the highest scores will join Jopson, Guidicelli and Arellano in the team set to see action in the Xterra World Championships set Oct. 28 in Maui.
Two voters of the two winning triathletes will win P50,000 in the electronic raffle. The winners will be announced on Oct. 19 at Vaseline Men’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/vaselinemenph).
