UP Gamma Sigma alumni golf slated
MANILA, Philippines - The University of the Philippines Gamma Sigma Pi Alumni Association Inc. (UPGSPFAAI) will hold its first benefit golf tournament on Oct. 12 at the Mimosa Golf and Country Club, Clark Freeport Zone, Angeles City.
The tournament aims to raise funds for its scholarship grants in UP Diliman, which will be awarded to deserving but financially challenged sophomore students, primarily in the College of Engineering.
“Scientific progress is at the forefront of our objectives and this is why we want to support the future engineers of our country,” said UPGSPFAAI president Romel Cortez. “We hope to make this benefit tournament an annual event.”
The UP Gamma Sigma Pi Alumni Association is a non-stock, non-profit organization composed of members of the Gamma Sigma Pi Fraternity.
