UFL Cup season aired on AKTV

MANILA, Philippines -  The United Football League (UFL) Cup season unfolds Oct. 2 at the University of Makati football field with 20 teams, led by defending champion Air Force Phoenix, seeing action.

Beginning Oct. 2, UFL games can be watched live on AKTV on IBC 13 every Tuesday, starting at 5 p.m. Encore telecast of the games can also be seen on Hyper, the 24/7 sports channel on cable.

 Air Force will be led by formidable veterans Chieffy Caligdong, Ian Araneta and Yanti Barsales. Worthy challengers include last year’s runner-up Loyola Meralco Sparks bannered by Phil and James Younghusband, who will be supported by Byeong Yeol Jeong, Ref Cuaresma and Anton Gonzales.

Newly crowned league champion Global FC retained its strong lineup led by Carli de Murga, Izzu Elhabib and Misagh Bahadoran.
