Unilab Tri United final leg slated at Ayala Alabang
MANILA, Philippines - Seasoned triathletes, the youth and other sports enthusiasts vie for honors at the Narra Park inside Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa in the final leg of the Tri United trilogy on Nov. 11.
Organized by Bikeking in cooperation with the Triathlon Association of the Philippines (TRAP) and presented by Unilab Active Health, Tri United 3 will have two distances – sprint distance (900m swim, 30.3K bike, 7.1K run) and mini-sprint (300m swim, 7.6K bike, 1.7K run).
Participants under the Elite and male-female age-groups compete in the sprint distance while youth (13-15) and adult (16-19 and 20-above) participants will take on the mini-sprint course.
Also included are team relay competitions in both distances.
At stake in the event sponsored by Hydrite, I-ON Energy Drink, Landco, Bikeking, Pocari Sweat, Timex, Crystal Clear, Orbea, Third District of Bohol, SwimBikeRun.ph, and Hydrite are medals and gift packs for the winners of all race categories. Unilab Active Health will also be giving away transition bags.
Entry fees are currently pegged at P1,100 for mini-sprint distance, P1,500 for sprint distance and P4,500 for team relay (both distances). Effective Oct. 1, entry fees will go up at P1,500 (mini-sprint), P2,000 (sprint) and P5,000 (relay) respectively. The fees will include timing chips, race bibs, event t-shirts, passes for the Active Health Village, and post-race breakfast.
