Josue Quintal scored 19 points while Kerr Bailey Bangeles added 17 markers as LCCM bucked the 31-point explosion by TIP’s Jemuel Namocatcat to secure the No. 2 spot at 5-1.
Kevin Espinoza hit 24 points and Leo Maderazo added 15 markers to help snap Manila Tytana’s dismal 0-5 start.
TIP finished the classifications in third with a 4-2 card, FEATI settled for fourth with an even 3-3 slate while idle St Dominic College of Asia, PWU and Manila Tytana were tied at 1-5.
Sixth placer SDCA meets seventh-ranked Manila Tytana while Feati battles PWU at the start of the ladderized phase today, also at the MTC gym.
