Battle royale at NCA derby on Sept. 18

MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance braces for another top-notch derby on Tuesday as it stages the six-stag event at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

NI Armen of Newton Isaac and Arnold Menodza scored six points to emerge the solo champion in the kickoff leg of the circuit, sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor, last week.

Danny Teves’ Dec 15-6-Cock Ann. Naujan Mindoro placed second with 5 ½ points while CJ of JR Tolentino and Charlie Gayoso, SJC 5-Stag Derby Circuit of Bong Pineda, San Leo of Mayor Elañ Nagano, AAO Sept 27 LPC of Gerry Ramos, MBJ of Mayor Boyet Joson, and Jade Red EDL Excellence of Arman Santos all wound up with identical four points.

Meanwhile, Manny and Armand Santos, Erick dela Rosa and Butchoy Olano and JR Tolentino will host the NCA’s upcoming event.

Expected to head the roster are Teng Rañola, Rep. Unabia and JR Tolentino.
