Rexona Run listup extended

MANILA, Philippines - Registration for Rexona Run 2012 ends tomorrow at Toby’s Trinoma and SM Mall of Asia and on Sept. 22 at Riovana stores in Bonifacio Global City and Katipunan.

Fees are pegged at P700, P1,600 (P800/team member) and P900 for the 5k, 11k relay and 21k solo category, respectively.

Organizers expect a huge field to vie in the event on Sept. 23 at the SM Mall of Asia with the top three finishers in the 21k solo receiving P7,000, 5,500, and 4,000, respectively.

The top three placers in the 21k relay division, on the other hand, will get P5,000, P4,000, and P3,000, respectively. The top three finishers in the 5k category will take home P4,000, P3,000 and P2,000, respectively.

The event will also challenge the field to beat the “industry standard,” wherein commemorative key chains will be given to the finishers who end the race on or before the recommended finishing time. To qualify, 5k runners must across the finish line on or before 6:20 a.m., 30 minutes from gun start and all 21k runners need to finish on or before 7 a.m., two hours after gun start.

Entertainment featuring some of today’s hottest bands and celebrities is also on tap along with the Kinect video games and the Rexona Run 2012 moments at designated photo booths.

Flat screen TVs and mobile phones from Devant and Lenovo will also be given away to lucky participants.
