MANILA, Philippines – Ultra-marathoner Cesar Guarin, who has just returned home from an 80-day, 1,820 km run from Finland to the United Kingdom, is preparing for the most difficult challenge in his global marathon – a 1,265km run in the deserts of the Middle East in January.
Guarin has just completed the Finland-UK leg, the sixth stage of a global run he vows to complete to become the first Filipino to run around the world.
