Prudente, Esguerra shine in ABC bowl
Manila, Philippines - Hermie Prudente of Boysen Wallguard rolled a 1230 to capture the Architects Bowling Club’s Architects Cup while Sonny Esguerra, Dante Manglicmot and Joey del Rosario of Boysen Virtuoso combined for 2387 to annex the ABC’s President’s Cup at the E Lanes Center in Greenhills, San Juan last week.
Malou del Rosario of Philflex Wires turned in 1061 to rule Group 2, beating Ricky Martinez of Concrete Ventures (1041) and Ariel Uy of Boysen Knoxout (1035) in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.
In Group 1, Manglicmot had 1225 to place second while Ronnie Javier scored a 1222 for third in the Architects Cup.
Javier, Martinez and Del Rosario also pooled a 2367 while Manglicmot, Jimmy Ocampo and Uy assembled a 2362 to finish second and third, respectively, in the President’s Cup.
Meanwhile, the tournament, backed by American Wires, ABC Phils., Atlanta Pipes, Crown Pipes, Emerald Pipes, JS Alvarez Elect. Contractor, Firefly-Royu, HCG Phils., Boysen Healthy Homes/Acrytex, We Konstruct, Moldex Pipes, Colorsteel, Duraflex TW/THHN Wires, Nation Paints and La Vida Verde, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the All Championship Catch-Up, also at E Lanes.
