MANILA, Philippines - Angelito Mirin and Roman Canto clash tonight in the featured fight of the weekly In This Corner of Rod Nazario over PTV-4 from 7 p.m.-8 p.m.
Presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, and Petron, the fight is set over eight rounds at bantamweight.
As preliminaries, previous bouts of Canto against Gerald Cortes, and Mirin opposite Joel Lagusan will also be shown.
The Canto-Mirin encounter was included in the “Bigating Mandirigma Showdown” put up by ARCI Promotions of June Camille Razon Baltazar and Ryan Gabriel, and Gold Rank Boxing Promotions’ Noel “Noah” Deyto.
It was held at the second floor Toppe Shoppe of the Makati Cinema Square recently, with Razon’s of Guagua among the major sponsors.
