MANILA, Philippines - The 14th adidas King of the Road (KOTR) hits road on Sept. 30 at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig with three categories on tap, including the 16.8K event which offers berths in the KOTR Southeast Asia Championship in Singapore.
The 16.8K race will have two categories – the “Closed” for local runners and the “Open” with the top male and female finishers in the Closed division will qualify for an all-expense paid trip to the Singapore KOTR SEA Championship on Oct. 28.
The other events are the 5K and 10K races.
“The adidas King of the Road is a platform that allows runners to achieve their personal best. As a global leader, adidas continuously provides top of the line products, technology, and events that support runners to be the best they can be,” said Jason Gervasio, adidas brand communications and sports marketing manager.
Registration is open and will end Sept. 15. Online listup can be made at www.adidaskingoftheroad.com/ph. or visit any of the five KOTR registration sites till Sept. 23 at adidas Megamall, adidas Rockwell, adidas SM Mall of Asia, adidas Trinoma, and adidas Greenbelt.
Registration sites are open seven days a week from 12 noon to 8 p.m.
Fees are pegged at P1,050 for 5K and 10K and P1,300 for 16.8km.
