Thomas graces Baseball Phl Fil-Am Day

MANILA, Philippines - Baseball Philippines holds a series of exhibition games and fun-filled activities in line with the Fil-Am Friendship Day celebrations on Sunday at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.

United States Ambassador to the Philippines Harry Thomas will be the special guest of the event organized by Community Sports Inc.

Highlighting the daylong festivities, to be graced by Philippine Sports commissioner Jolly Gomez, is the 11:30 a.m. clash between Baseball Phils. All-Star players against the national team, which is gearing up for the World Baseball Classic qualifiers in November.

An exhibition game between the Philippine Barakos and the Smokey Mountain team along with fun games are also on tap in the event which starts at 8:30 a.m.

A baseball clinic for the kids, to be conducted by the coaches and Baseball Philippines All-Stars, will also be held right after the exhibition games.
