MANILA, Philippines - Rod Nazario’s In This Corner caps a busy Sunday of boxing by featuring a three-pronged offering in its 7- 8 p.m. show over PTV-4.
The eight-round bantamweight clash between Vergel Puton and Menard Zaragoza highlights the hour-long program presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), and Petron.
The show comes on the evening of Manny Pacquiao’s defense of his world welterweight title against Timothy Bradley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
A teaser will also be shown before the fight featuring Puton’s past encounter with Larry Abarra.
Two preliminary bouts precede the main fight showcasing Richard Claveras against Ronel Lagarto (four rounds) and Janel Naza versus Eranio Semillano.
